Personality
Looks can be deceiving. His core group of friends are Slytherins, he looks like a Slytherin, one of his best friends is a Slytherin and he’s a Hufflepuff. He’s very sweet and caring. Despite people’s backgrounds, he tries to find the good in everyone. Hate is such a strong word, but it’s possible if you cross the line way too many times with him. Blood status means nothing to him, though he’s sure a few of his friends have something to say about that. He has friends from all walks of life, and he values each and everyone one of them. He believes his friends helped mold him into the young man he is today. He works hard - his school position proves that - and he plays hard. One of his main passions in life is photography. After school he plans on traveling the world to build up his portfolio.

Personal Background
His mother is Canadian and his father is Italian. Gio was born and raised in Canada for the first 5 years of his life. Both his parents work for the Ministry of Magic in the International Relations department. His parents heavily believe in muggles and wizards co-existing, so that was how Gio was raised. Growing up he knew what he was but he never let it get to his head. A good amount of his friends were muggles. He still keeps in contact with some of his friends, even though they still don’t know he’s a wizard.
On that first train ride he met Orlando Salvatore. Other than almost looking alike, the two used their common heritage as a way to bond - speaking Italian when they didn’t want others to know what they were talking about. By the time they arrived to school they were practically best friends. Unfortunately, they were sorted into different houses, but that didn’t stop the two. Orlando had introduced Gio to some of his friends and soon Gio was an honorary Slytherin. He never let that status get to his head, though. He still stayed the same Gio he was before.
